How scoring works

Points scale with board area and difficulty, plus a bounded speed bonus. Easy, Normal, Tricky, and Hard use progressively higher values. Using Solve makes the score zero; undo, redo, and excluded-edge marks are free.

Sixty-second guide

How Loopy works

The numbers describe nearby edges. Your job is to connect some of those edges into exactly one closed loop.

A completed two by two Loopy exampleA green loop follows the outside edges of four cells marked two. Crosses mark inside edges excluded from the loop.2222Each 2 touches exactly two green segments.
  1. Read a number.A 0 touches no loop edges; a 3 touches three. Blank cells provide no clue.
  2. Draw or exclude.Tap an edge to include it. Use Exclude edge to mark segments you know are impossible.
  3. Close one loop. The final line cannot branch, stop, cross itself, or split into separate smaller loops.

Tap an edge with Draw line selected to include it. Choose Exclude edge, Ctrl-click, or right-click to mark an edge that cannot be part of the loop. A valid answer is one closed loop with no branches or smaller loops.
